What is our BowTie Program?

Our BowTie program is dedicated to providing the highest quality environment conducive to educational, emotional, and social success. We work closely with students by developing individualized plans of action with one goal in mind for everyone; getting every child into college.

We focus on three specific areas: Enhanced Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Mentoring.  Our students are required to spend at least three hours a week at our facility, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and attend all classes, as well as participate in extracurricular activities all while researching potential colleges and careers.

We work with students who have tremendous potential, however are growing up facing some sort of adversity.  By doing so, we develop relationships with the students, parents, and educators to ensure a recurring theme of success. The expectations we have for our students are elevated as we refuse to allow mediocrity.

Graduates of our program will possess the tools necessary to allow them to make a difference. This will have an immediate impact within their personal lives, as well as their families, friends, schools, and communities.

The Lab

The lab is a place where the members in our BowTie program come to work and learn about the functions in life. “Grinding" is a term frequently used in this space, due to staff and students alike, working to personally better themselves while being resources for each other. From business plans, to school projects, the LAB is a safe environment and “judge free” zone, that’s sole purpose is Productivity!

BowTie Off The Rack

Congratulations to Porscha Hunter, our “BowTie Off the Rack”.  Porscha is a junior in her first year at Lancaster Catholic High School.  Porscha who has 6 brothers has proven that with focus and determination, it’s possible to excel in both the classroom and in athletics. With her favorite subjects being Science, Social Studies and Communication Arts,  Porscha has aspirations to one day be a lawyer.  She is working very hard to achieve her dream of receiving an academic/athletic scholarship.  Some of the colleges Porscha is interested in attending are West Virginia University, Rutgers University, and the University of Maryland.
